Walls, Roof, & HVAC

There has been a lot of progress on our project the last few days, the house is taking shape and looking like a house again.  Most of the framing is completed, and today they are putting in windows

They had to do a redesign of the roof in the front of the house to accommodate the addition, and they have started putting the shingles on



The HVAC crews are here, the project required a redesign of our whole heating / cooling system, so they have torn down a lot of the basement ceiling and are running new ducts all over the place, but the good news is that after months of no heater / air conditioning we should be up and running this weekend

Footings Have Been Poured

The footings for the extension were poured today. A rather large pumping truck came to suck the cement up and spew it on the other side of our dirt hill. I was surprised to see the color of cement is a dark red. They must be grinding up Arches and Canyonlands to make cement these days.
