New Roof

Our roof is being replaced. Not only will the shape and length of it change, but all the shingles are being taken off and replaced. We are also adding a covered porch. Being west facing, our front door gets hotter than a furnace during the summer. We have all been branded by our metal doorknob. This new covered porch will prevent those nasty burns.


They finished putting shingles on the east side of our house.

Footings Have Been Poured

The footings for the extension were poured today. A rather large pumping truck came to suck the cement up and spew it on the other side of our dirt hill. I was surprised to see the color of cement is a dark red. They must be grinding up Arches and Canyonlands to make cement these days.
