Preparing for Basement Walls

Today a bunch of workers came and constructed these forms for where the concrete will be poured to make walls. There is so much rebar in there.

This is in front of the garage. I assume after the wall is poured, they will fill in the hole with dirt.

This is the north side of the house where we will have an exterior staircase that will go to the basement.

This is the front of the house where our two basement bedrooms will be.

The city inspector needs to come by to look at this before they can pour the concrete. We hope to have it poured sometime this week. Then it will have to bake in the sun for a week.
