Framing the new garage

The garage has been gutted. They are putting new trusses onto the front to extend the garage. 


 They have excavated a little in the front for a raised planter bed.


Things are moving along!

They also got the front porch ready for concrete. We are scheduled to have concrete poured next Wednesday the 5th.

Footings Have Been Poured

The footings for the extension were poured today. A rather large pumping truck came to suck the cement up and spew it on the other side of our dirt hill. I was surprised to see the color of cement is a dark red. They must be grinding up Arches and Canyonlands to make cement these days.
